Vallagio at Inverness, Arapahoe County, CO

MNA is providing structural engineering services for Metropolitan Homes' newest subdivision:  Vallagio at Inverness.  Situated on the Inverness Golf Course, this 30-acre development is located at East Dry Creek and Inverness Drive West in Arapahoe County.  Upon completion in April of 2009, there were five condominium buildings with a total of 240 units and 14 townhome buildings, nine of which are luxury units facing the golf course.  Six multi-use buildings will include both residential and retail occupancies.

Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center, Colorado Springs, Co

Working with David Owen of Tryba Architects™, we provided civil engineering services for the renovation and expansion of the Fine Arts Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Designed originally by John Gaw Meem, the existing 25,000-sq.-ft. historic structure is inward focusing, while the new 42,000-sq.-ft. addition is envisioned as a lighter structure, enabling museum patrons views across and through various spaces.  The renovations will enhance the original art galleries' sensitive artwork. It also involves the reorganization of earlier modifications made at the Arts Center.

United Artists King of Prussia Stadium, King of Prussia, PA

The new 81,365-sq.-ft. theater complex features 16 separate stadium-style seating theaters.  The $12 million project also has  8 70mm theaters that can be converted into IMAX™ format.  Structural engineering components of the theater complex include steel framework and 60-foot-high specialty masonry walls.  The spread footing foundation was designed and constructed to accommodate the size of the structure. Unique challenges were the design of the arched glass entrance and placing the stadium seating on an elevated structure to meet the tight schedule.

The Dakota Lofts, Denver, CO

This five-story, mixed-use project is located in Denver's Highland neighborhood and consists of 61 condominium lofts with prime commercial space on the street level and a covered parking structure. MNA's structural and civil design services included roof and floor framing design, foundation design, grading, utility, drainage, street improvements, and construction administration.
